Collegiate 100 Spring 2012 Induction

On Sunday March 4th, 2012 the Collegiate 100 Black Men of Dillard University inducted four new members: JerMarkus Booker, Germon Green, Lyndon Catalan, and Darryl Tucker.

Collegiate 100 Wins Dillard University's Annual Table Decorating Contest

Congratulations to the members of Collegiate 100 who participated in the Annual Table Decorating Contest! C100 won 1^st place in the Table Decorating Contest between different organizations based on their creativity.

Community Service at St. Anna's Nursing Home

On Saturday February 4th the Collegiate 100 Black Men of Dillard University went to St. Anna’s Nursing Home for a Community service. At the Nursing home C100 played bingo and read books to residents of the nursing home.

Mentoring with 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans

Today the Collegiate 100 Black Men of DIllard University and the 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans came together to mentor at Miller McCoy.

7th Ward Neighborhood Center’s Hurricane Katrina Memorial Day of Service

The brothers got up early this morning to commemorate the 6^th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. We all engaged  in re-committing to the rehabilitation of the Historic 7^th Ward community, which is still struggling with its post-Katrina recovery. We aided three homeowners in the 7^th Ward community with light rehabilitation projects such as painting, scraping and caulking. 

The 7^th Ward Neighborhood Center, founded in 2008, is a non-profit organization which exists to improve quality of life conditions in New Orleans’ Historic 7^th Ward community. Specifically, the center focuses on social, health, economic and environmental issues in the area in order to positively impact human and social development.
