During the final week of classes in the spring semester of 2011, the Collegiate 100 Black Men of Dillard University held a ceremony for graduating senior members. This celebration of excellence was used to present different awards to the graduating members of Collegiate 100 Black Men of Dillard University.
The presentation began with a brief greeting given by the President Lawrence Young, then a prayer by given by the Chaplain Cheston Owens, next was a welcome to the occasion by Vice President Jerome Bailey, and Finally a Presentation of the awards.
The three awards presented were the: Marcel E. Harris Service Award, the David L. McBride Collegiate of the Year Award, and the Raphael T. Richard Jr. Man of the Year Award. The recipients of these awards were Darius Miller (Service award), Gerald Lee (Collegiate of the year), and Alan Carmel (Man of the year).
After the awards were presented, there was recognition of guests and Alumni members of Collegiate 100.
